NON-HGV C1 (7.5T) DRIVERS

We have a number of vacancies for professional NON-HGV C1 (7.5T) drivers.
Some of the positions will involve nights out, early starts and late finishes.

The other positions will involve day work delivering multi drop in our local area.
Shift pattern Monday-Friday and some weekends.

We have a vacancy for professional NON-HGV C1 (7.5T) driver.
The position will involve Multi-drop and handball, delivering furniture and other items to private addresses as part of our two man white glove operation.

WAREHOUSING AND SITE OPERATIONS OPERATIVE

Principal Responsibilities

• Receive goods and materials from suppliers. Unpack and check goods against Goods Received Notes (GRN’s), identifying all non-conformances’.
• Locate products in Warehouse locations.
• Pick, pack and prepare orders for despatch in line with pick note requirements.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles as required.
• Maintain information on appropriate IT systems.
• Participate in the Perpetual Inventory/Stocktake Count cycle.
• Investigate stock non-conformances’.
• Transfer goods and materials to and from various Warehouse locations.
• Use various forms of Material Handling Equipment to perform required tasks.
• Operate in compliance with Health and Safety policy.
• Maintain equipment/area effectively and efficiently in line with ‘best practice’ and Company policy, and maintain high housekeeping standards using 5S criteria.
• Assist with maintenance of vehicles and plant in line with Company policy and procedure, and current Health and Safety legislation.
• Build and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external contacts.
• Carry out any other reasonable management request.

Desirable Competences/Skills required

• Counter balance fork lift truck licence.
• Bendi fork lift truck licence.
• IT literate. (experience with MS office, email, etc)

• Ability to work effectively within a pressurized environment whilst maintaining compliance to Company policies and procedures.
• Ability to operate within a target lead environment.
• Ability to grasp new concepts quickly.

The majority of our customer base is within our local area.

Key duties will include:

-Propose sales strategies to Directors for approval
-Implement strategies to sell our varied services to the targets
-Make presentations to potential and current customers
-Establish relationships with potential customers
-Establish relationships with existing customers
-Identify further sales possibilities with existing customers
-Represent the company at Trade Shows
-Work with Directors and colleagues to support company Brand.
