Treat for Lorry-mad lad

A LORRY-mad Pershore High School pupil was rewarded for his hard work with a day he will never forget.

Robert Bryant is a year eight pupil at the station road school and fanatical about lorries, so when his teachers sought to reward him for his recent hard work, they contacted White Logistics. The prize came after Robert achieved 100 points in Pershore High's £1 million learning resource centre and autism base, named the Hampton Centre. Robert, who is autistic and aged 13, was able to spend the day with the team at White Logistics and take a trip in one of their fleet of lorries.

White Logistics Operations Director Daniel Holland said: "We were delighted to have Robert at our site for a visit. His knowledge of the types of vehicles was very impressive and we would like to congratulate him on his achievements at school and encourage him to keep up the good work. It was a pleasure to meet him and we wish him all the best."
