Role Overview
Our HGV Class 2 Drivers are at the heart of our general haulage operation — delivering and collecting goods across the UK with professionalism, safety, and care.
Operating from our base in Pershore, you’ll be behind the wheel of a modern, well-maintained vehicle, handling a variety of deliveries and collections throughout the working week. Nights out are part of the role, with most drivers averaging 2–3 per week.
Core Responsibilities
Deliveries & Collections

Transport goods safely and efficiently to locations across the UK.

Complete collections from customers in line with schedules.

Adhere to road safety regulations and company procedures.
Vehicle Care
-
Conduct daily walk-round checks.

Keep your vehicle clean, tidy, and roadworthy.

Report any defects promptly.
Communication
-
Act as a professional representative of the company when on the road.

Communicate with the transport office regarding schedules and updates.

Ensure paperwork and delivery notes are completed accurately.

Skills & Experience

Current Class 2 (Category C) licence.

Driver CPC qualification card.

Ability to work independently and manage schedules.

Professional driving and customer service skills.

Flexibility for nights out.
A Day in the Life
Morning – Getting on the Road
Arrive at the depot, check your schedule, complete vehicle safety checks, and load up. You’ll head out for your first delivery, often to a mix of industrial, retail, or distribution sites.
Midday – Deliveries & Collections
Your day may include both timed deliveries and flexible collections. You’ll liaise with the transport office to adjust routes if required, ensuring all jobs are completed efficiently.
Afternoon – Nights Out
Returning to Base
Return to Pershore, complete final deliveries, and hand in any paperwork.
For longer runs, you’ll park up at a secure location for the night. You’ll receive a night-out allowance and be ready to continue your route the next day.



work Environment
Class 2 drivers work Monday–Friday with occasional weekend overtime. Expect a mix of local and national routes, varied freight, and a supportive transport office ready to help keep you moving.
